Our technology practice focuses on serving the International and U.S. information technology and telecommunications industries as well as “brick and mortar” companies. The firm has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and litigating technology matters for companies in every stage of development and offers practical insights on business formation, regulation, and intellectual property protection.

Our practice covers virtually the entire spectrum of technology law issues including structuring e-commerce agreements, negotiating technology outsourcing contracts, litigating and resolving patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes, and counseling on privacy, security, and other computer and technology related matters.

One of the partners served two terms as Chair of the Florida Bar’s Computer Law Committee during the early days of the World Wide Web, and has spoken internationally and published extensively on issues of e-commerce and Internet law. He currently serves on the Internet Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Firm partner, Jose Rojas, is proud to have been selected to the Best Lawyers in America yearly listing since 2007.  He was named as Best Lawyers 2012 and 2020 “Lawyer of the Year” in the area of Information Technology and Technology Law. The firm’s founders was one of the first members of the Florida Bar’s Computer Law Committee and chaired their committee for two terms. He currently serves on the International Trademark Association’s Internet Committee, and has handled some of the pioneering cases involving technology.
